Copenhagen

I went for a 48 hour shopfest to copenhagen with work, and snapped a few interesting rides and sights along the way. For instance, a horned and fur trimmed beastie, some axel based rides, and the chaps at Soreni (www.sogreni.dk) had some great frames and even some wooden ones. a pretty neat place for bike fans, get yourself to copenhagen.

i noticed at the end of 'the passion of anna' *AHEM*, the end of the film was denoted by "SLUT," which i take to be synonymous with "the end" or "end" (since svensk and dansk are so similar). although "end sport" doesnt really make sense, im guessing its more of a rhyming sound thing (like "white witches" or "the riegn in the plains...")

did that store specialize in fixed and singlespeed? or did they simply not have brakes / shifters attached yet?

the slut spurt sign (which i continue to laugh out load at) was for a shoe shop, which was having a sale (i guess) that ended soon? end soon. slut spurt? hmmn. yeah. works for me.

pretty much all the rides i saw were either single speed with rear hub based brakes, or internal 3 speeds. most rides were brake lever free, so the aesthetics were rocking.

yeah. the passion of anna. great if you could read the subtitles. besides, the lady i left at home was ill and needed nursing. in a nice little nursey outfit.
